General Maintenance Hacks for Busy Vehicle Owners

You don't need to be a mechanic to keep your vehicle in good shape. These quick checks take just a few minutes and can save you from expensive breakdowns.

Check your tyre pressures monthly. Under-inflated tyres wear faster, reduce fuel economy and affect handling. Your recommended pressure is in the driver's door jamb or owner's manual.

Check your oil every few weeks. Pull the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert and pull again. The oil level should sit between the min and max marks. Top up with the correct grade if needed.

Listen for changes. New squeaks, knocks or vibrations are often the first sign of a problem. Catching them early almost always means a cheaper fix.

Check your warning lights. If a warning light comes on and stays on, don't ignore it. Bring your vehicle to us and we'll run a diagnostic scan to identify the fault.
